VMware vCloud Air Virtual Private Cloud OnDemand

I’ve spent today getting the vCloud up and running, the web elements are really easy! (I’d recommend the labs, it’ll make a big difference)

I’ve had some problem adding it to my vCenter 5.5 though.

“You need SSO administrator privileges to install the vCloud Hybrid Service plug-in. Log out of vSphere Web Client and log back in with the required privileges”

"You need SSO administrator privileges to install the vCloud Hybrid Service plug-in. Log out of vSphere Web Client and log back in with the required privileges"

This is a fairly simple one to fix though I had some issues getting in as an SSO administrator (this could come in useful)

Once that was done, I was able to run the client and upgrade to the newest version.

When I tried to “Register vCloud Air Account” I go the following error – “Server Certificate not Verified”

"Server Certificate not Verified"

David Hill’s post helped me – original post is here

This document will also come in handy when you’re setting up internet access on vCloud Air – here

Now just to awaiting the vCenter Plugin release.
